Who can do this?
What This Feature Does
The Public Enquiry Form is a branded, shareable web form unique to your business. Anyone with the link can submit an enquiry — no portal login is required. Submitted enquiries appear in the Enquiries section in MyApprentice ready for you to review and action.
When To Use It
- Capture leads from your website. Paste your enquiry form link on your own website without needing a separate contact-form tool.
- Share on social. Drop the link in your Instagram bio, Facebook page, or LinkedIn profile so potential clients can reach you in one tap.
- Centralise enquiries. Every form submission lands in the same Enquiries inbox in MyApprentice, alongside the rest of your business — no extra accounts to check.
- Let clients send photos. Photo attachments are supported, so clients can include images of the work they need done.
Notes and Limitations
- The full web address depends on the deployed MyApprentice host — confirm your exact link from Business Settings rather than assuming a fixed URL.
- Business Owner, Finance, and Supervisor can view the Enquiries section. Finance can view only — Finance cannot create, edit, or delete enquiries. Tradies and Apprentices cannot see Enquiries.

What This Feature Does
MyApprentice uses Stripe as its integrated payments partner. When Stripe is connected to your business, you can accept online card payments from clients directly from an invoice. Payment status flows back to MyApprentice so quotes, jobs, invoices, and payments all sit in one place.
When To Use It
- Accept online card payments. Clients can pay from their invoice without an account, app download, or phone call.
- Reduce time chasing payments. Clients can pay immediately when they receive an invoice.
- Keep payment status in one view. Track payment status alongside jobs, quotes, and invoices in MyApprentice.
- Offer a professional experience. Stripe powers the payment screen — clients see a secure, modern, branded checkout.
How It Works (at a glance)
- MyApprentice uses Stripe because Stripe provides a secure, PCI-compliant payments infrastructure.
- All card data is handled by Stripe — MyApprentice does not store card numbers or payment credentials.
- Connecting Stripe requires MFA to be enabled and is performed by the Business Owner in Business Settings → Integrations.
Notes and Limitations
- Stripe is a third-party service. Stripe processing fees apply per transaction — see stripe.com/pricing for current rates.
- Several payment-flow specifics (automatic vs per-invoice payment link, automatic “Paid” status, mark-as-paid behaviour when Stripe is connected, simultaneous Stripe + Xero) are pending product-owner confirmation in the source material.
