Overview

How to find active jobs that don’t yet have a shift booked against them and schedule the missing work in one pass.

Who This Is For

Business Owner, Sole Trader, Admin, and Supervisor.

Before You Start

You are starting a planning session and want to make sure every active job has a scheduled visit booked against it.

Steps

Alternative pathways: if you prefer not to start from the Dashboard, you can also (a) open Jobs in the sidebar and filter by In Progress status to find jobs with no shifts booked, or (b) open the Schedule board in Person view to see every booked shift and visually identify gaps.

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. Review the Needs Your Attention cards for any items flagged as unscheduled jobs.
  3. Select the unscheduled job card to open the job.
  4. Scroll to the Schedule section on the job card.
  5. Select Add.
  6. Use Fast Schedule (or pick a slot from the schedule board) and set the date, start time, and end time.
  7. (Optional) Select a shift type.
  8. (Optional) Add Shift To-Do’s or recurring details if the work spans multiple visits.
  9. Select Confirm Shift.
  10. Repeat for any remaining unscheduled jobs.

What Happens Next

The job moves from “unscheduled” to “scheduled” and disappears from the Dashboard’s unscheduled attention card once a shift is confirmed. The new shift appears on the Schedule board and on the assigned worker’s dashboard (when a worker is added).
