Business Owners, Sole Traders, Admin, Supervisor, and Finance.
Overview
Convert an accepted quote into a new job — or attach the quote to an existing job for variations and additional work — so you can schedule shifts and deliver the work.
Before you start
The quote must be in Client Accepted status. If you want to schedule the first shift at the same time, have the date, start and end times, and assigned worker ready.
Steps
- Open Quotes / Invoices from the sidebar and find the Client Accepted quote.
- Open the quote and select Accept & Create Job.
- In the conversion pop-up, choose:
- Create New Job — for new work.
- Add to Existing Job — opens a search for existing jobs. Select the job to attach the quote to. The accepted quote is added to that job’s quote list (shown on the Quotes & Invoices linked-quote count, e.g. 1/2, 2/2). Materials and labour from this quote are added to the job’s totals.
- Enter the Job Description (for a new job).
- (Optional) Add Job To-Do’s — whole-job tasks visible to all workers on the job.
- (Optional) Schedule the first shift now: open the Schedule card, select Add, enter date, start/end times, shift type, and assign one or more workers (Business Owner, Sole Trader, Supervisor, Tradie, or Apprentice — Admin and Finance roles cannot be assigned as shift workers). Select Confirm Shift.
- Select Accept & Create Job.
- If the Share with client prompt appears, choose what job details to share with the client (or skip).
What happens next
The job appears on the Jobs page. Assigned workers receive an email notification with the shift details and see the shift on their dashboard. Carry on with Schedule a shift, Add Job To-Do’s and Internal Notes, or Mark a job complete when the work is done.
