Upload Photos and Evidence on a Shift

Who this guide is for

Tradies. Apprentices can upload photos where their permissions allow. Supervisors, Sole Traders, and Business Owners can also upload to shifts they work.

Overview

Capture before / after / progress photos and any compliance or issue images against the shift or job so the record of what was done on site is kept with the work.

Before you start

Open the shift or job card on the device you have the photos on.

Steps

  1. Open the job card or shift card.
  2. Select Add Photo.
  3. Choose the image from your device.
  4. Select the category: Before, After, Progress, Issue, or Compliance.
  5. (Optional) Add a caption describing what the photo shows.
  6. Decide whether the client should see the photo. Leave Share with Client off to keep it internal (the default). Turn Share with Client on only if the photo is meant for the client.
  7. Save.

What happens next

The photos are stored against the shift or job and are visible to the rest of the team. A photo is visible to the client only when both of these are true:

  1. The Client Portal is enabled for your business.
  2. You turned Share with Client on for that specific photo when you uploaded it.

View your assigned shifts, Clock In and Out of a Shift, Complete a Shift.
