Overview
Reviewing job progress and shift status is your daily way of seeing where every active job is up to — what is scheduled, what is in progress, what is ready to be invoiced, and where shifts have been clocked into or completed. As a Supervisor you have full job view-and-edit access plus full schedule access, so you can drill into any record and see the current state.
Who This Workflow Is For
The Supervisor role. The Business Owner and Admin can also review job progress and shift status. Finance has read-only access on jobs and schedules. Tradies and Apprentices see jobs and shifts they are assigned to.
Before You Start
You need to be signed in. Open the Jobs page or the Schedule board as the starting point.
Step-by-Step Process
- Start from the Dashboard — stat cards at the top show pipeline counts and the schedule stream shows today’s shifts.
- To review the wider pipeline, open Jobs in the left sidebar.
- The Jobs page shows stat cards (e.g. Pending, In Progress, Completed) and the job list.
- Use the status filter or search bar to find a specific job.
- Select a job to open the job card. Review:
- Status — In Progress, Completed, Ready to be invoiced, etc.
- Client and location.
- Linked quotes and totals.
- Materials used and labour recorded.
- Job To-Do’s and Internal notes.
- Schedule card showing every linked shift, with assigned workers and clock-in/clock-out status.
- From the job card you can also open the shift detail panel to see Shift To-Do completion, uploaded photos, and timesheet entries for the shift.
- To review live shift activity across the team, open Schedule and use the Day, Week, Month, Team, or All view — see View the schedule board.
What Happens Next
You have an up-to-date picture of delivery. From here you typically:
- Address attention items — see Review your attention items at login.
- Reassign a shift if a worker is unavailable — see Reassign a shift.
- Complete a job that is ready — see Complete a job.
Common Issues
- Job missing from the active list. Completed jobs are hidden from the default list. Use the status filter and select Completed to find them.
- Cannot find the shift. Use the Schedule board’s All view or filter by client/worker.
- Stat cards do not match the list. Refresh the page — stat cards and lists update in real time, but a stale browser tab may show old counts.
